Henry Hundt
I was a Project Assistant and an Energy Analysis and Policy Master’s student in La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison. My research is focused on using satellite data to map renewable energy potential in Wisconsin. My clean energy background began in Alaska while working at the Renewable Energy Alaska Project after receiving a BA from Cornell College. Outside of the lab, I work as an energy analyst supporting non-profits transition their facilities to net zero energy.
Sagar Rathod
I was a Postdoc at the La Follette School of Public Affairs. My research focused on the quantification and mitigation questions around methane at various spatial scales – from cities to global. I did my Ph.D. in atmospheric science at Colorado State University, looking at the role of metals in the Earth and energy systems. Before that, I was an environmental engineer in India treating wastewater and air pollution. You can learn more about my work here.
Lew Blank
I was a Project Assistant and a Master of Public Affairs student at the UW-Madison’s La Follette School. I am also working with the Wisconsin state government to develop an environmental justice map for the state. I graduated with degrees in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and am interested in climate and social policy. I enjoy hiking, playing basketball and guitar, and visiting new places.
Trevor Dean
I was an undergraduate studying Finance and International Business. I am passionate about finding new solutions to financing renewable energy projects that will make investment more attractive. I am interested in project finance and development, clean energy investing, and data analysis. My research focused on environmental policies and politics - with current emphasis on heat pump policy adoption in the U.S. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer, bouldering, and traveling.
Krinjal Mathur
I am an Analyst at the U.S. GAO and was a Project Assistant in the Climate Action Lab working on gas leaks and energy justice issues. I earned my Master’s in Public Affairs from the UW-Madison La Follette School and have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science & Management, with an emphasis in Natural Resource Management, from the University of California, Davis. I enjoy cooking, hiking, and kayaking.
Victoria Mui
I was an undergraduate student studying Political Science and Psychology with a keen interest in researching the effectiveness of environmental policies and their impact on adoption rates. I am driven by my passion for environmental law and promoting sustainable practices. Outside the lab, I love trying new recipes and exploring the world.
