New paper discusses satellite data applications for sustainable energy transitions

Satellite data can be used alongside other information sources to provide a more complete spatial and temporal understanding of the global energy system. We find that satellite data has a variety of energy applications, including planning renewable energy projects, monitoring patterns in energy access and use, and observing climate policy impacts.
