Congrats to Mattie and UW team on XPRIZE award for carbon removal

About the XPRIZE

Lab member Mattie Bindl and her student-led team, representing UW-Madison, were awarded $250,000 as one of 23 winners in the Musk Foundation’s $5 million XPRIZE for Carbon Removal Student Competition. The award will fund further work in the global contest to develop a direct air capture technology to remove carbon dioxide from the air, land, and oceans.
